Do you ever have a game plan, that gets completely flipped upside down, but then ends up working out just fine!? This was our evening out with Erin & Austin. They are from Corvallis, so we planned on meeting halfway at the beautiful Tualatin Wildlife Refuge. The weather was PERFECT, and when we arrived to the refuge our jaws dropped for two reasons: 1- it was so beautifully breathtaking and then 2- it was closed for nesting *insert crying sad face here!* With less than two hours of sunlight left, we knew we had to come up with a game plan, and come up with one fast!

We decided to try another new location in West Linn that we had heard about from other photographers, that ended up being a dark hole with no light (and ya’ll know I won’t stand for that!) So we ended up finding the perfect little park to do Erin & Austin’s “family portraits” with their pup Lancelot, and then headed to Marylhurst University. The university grounds are SO GORGEOUS, and we had the place to ourselves. We then ended at Willamette Park on the waterfront. We didn’t get as much sunset as I was hoping for, due to the hills… however, I think you will see Erin & Austin’s sweetness was enough glow alone for this session- the bright sun simply was not needed. 🙂

We love these two!! Erin & Austin were both totally flexible and down for whatever when our plans were changed, and followed us all over to find the perfect locations for their session. They totally rocked it! We loved getting to see these two in person and how lovely they are together. Austin is a total goofball (just like Sean) so they got a long just perfectly, and Erin is an absolute sweetheart (and STUNNING as all get out!) Thank you both for being up for adventuring with us- we can’t wait for your wedding THIS JUNE at the Abernethy Center!
