For Sean and I, this has been the year of very special weddings for us! With both of our cousins prior to this, and now a long awaited wedding day that is especially near to my heart. Sierra St. John was my first “bosom” best friend in the Vancouver, WA area. Her constant encouragement in the Lord and her sweet friendship are my absolute favorite memories of my high school years. From sleepovers (basically every other day), singing our hearts out to John Mayer & Leona Lewis… and of course to our long conversations about our “dream future husbands,” it is an understatement to say that October 2, 2022 was incredibly special.

Photographing Sierra & Jake’s wedding was one of the best gifts for me. Being a part of their day in that way brought me more joy than I could have ever realized- wow. How sweet it is to get to capture such love- especially love that is patient. Sierra & Jake patiently waited for each other until God beautifully brought their paths together. Lamentations 3:25 says, “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.” Both Sierra & Jake have faithfully walked with the Lord before meeting one another, and now they get the gift of seeking Him faithfully together, as husband and wife!
