Miss Rebekah McCort is my darling cousin and since we have moved to Moses Lake, we have had the privilege of getting to know her more and more. Our kids adore her and so do we- and she is also one of my sisters closest friends.

Earlier this year, I came by for visit to her parents’ home. Rebekah had just undergone major surgery and was in recovery. After visiting about other things, her mama, Aunt Cheryl said there was a young man coming for a visit soon. Oh? A young man? I was very curious and of course continued the conversation with all sorts of questions. The biggest takeaway from our conversation is not only could I see Rebekah lighting up whenever Anthony was mentioned, but I felt a sense of excitement and deep approval from my Aunt Cheryl. He had brought her flowers right out of surgery, and apparently was over as often as he could be to see if she needed anything or just to be there to keep her company. My heart was touched! It just so happened that young man was arriving when we were leaving. I was very impressed by his initiative to introduce himself- he also had an impressive handshake to boot! After our sweet girly conversation, and then of course after meeting Anthony, I had a feeling that we would have another special family wedding this year. <3

Fast forward about six months… we had the privilege of capturing not only their sweet engagement photos but also their wedding day! <3 Sean and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Anthony and Rebekah as a couple and we are so excited for them as they get to live out the gift of marriage. So blessed that our family continues to grow!
