Michelle & Elijah came into our life through unplanned circumstances. Our sister Bri’Anne (wedding photographer over at Bri’Anne Elizabeth Photography) was originally scheduled to photograph their special day. However, when the sweet news of her first baby’s due date was the week of their July wedding, I’m so thankful that Sean and I still had their date available to be able to take over for her. It truly was perfect timing, as Bri’Anne went into labor Friday before their wedding, and had her precious baby girl the day before Michelle & Elijah’s wedding day!

All that said, we have been impressed from the beginning with this couple. Changing up photography plans is always such a hard thing to go through from the couple’s standpoint… but man, these two were so understanding and SO flexible with the change of plans. While we never had the privilege of having an engagement session together, working with them from the very beginning felt SO natural. We just FIT! So thank you, Michelle & Elijah for being simply so WONDERFUL! Your Cape Horn Estate wedding was absolutely incredible and it was an honor for us to get to witness and photograph such a PERFECT day! Your whole family, friends, and all of the vendors apart of your wedding were a dream to work with. Also- we are still re-living your incredible dance moves- to all the brides and grooms wondering if you should incorporate some choreographed fun into your day- DO IT!
