You all know that we are big advocates for doing a first look before your wedding day. But did you know that you can also do a first look with your dad?! When John first saw Alyssa, his reaction choked us both up for sure. This is a man who is beyond proud of his daughter. We saw that pride expressed throughout the entire day. With that said, when John stood up to give his speech, we knew that it would be a good one. Towards the end of his toast, he talked about how he is learning to choose a specific word to live by and to embrace each year. He shared with us that this year’s word for him was “joy.” JOY. That is what you will see throughout this blogpost, and that is what we felt when capturing Alyssa & Myles’ beautiful wedding day.

This Creekside Estate garden wedding was a dream come true. From Alyssa’s gorgeous gown to the stunning florals by Petals & Press, everything was absolutely perfect. And you guys… We love love love this venue! The owners are truly incredible and don’t get me started on their in-house wedding coordinator! Daveen of To Love & Be Loved Events is amazing at what she does and made the day go flawlessly. Alyssa truly did such a marvelous job planning her wedding from out of state with the help of her lovely family. There was obviously much tender, love, and care that went into the preparation of this day, and Sean and I felt so honored to be apart of it.
