Once everyone had their glasses filled with champagne, the Father of the Bride stood up to give his toast. After greeting everyone, he looked over at his little girl, who just married the love of her life. He said… “Haley… you look so beautiful…” as his eyes quickly began to fill with tears, he handed off the microphone and said that was all he could do. It was so precious to see the deep, deep love he had for his daughter, the whole room was filled with much joy & happy tears during that precious moment. Sometimes, the fewer words the better, they say. This was one of those cases-  all he needed to say in that instant was how beautiful his daughter was, and that my friends… she was. <3

Haley and Nick- we are so thankful that you chose us to photograph your wedding. Having the blessing of capturing your day, telling your wedding story photographically, and to get to know you and your families, was truly such a gift. We loved everything about June 23^rd– your venue was amazing, Haley your dress was a DREAM, your flowers were stunning, your family was awesome… and so much more.  Haley & Nick had an anniversary dance after their first dances! This is one of our favorite wedding traditions- it’s so amazing to see all the married couples out on the dance floor together, and this particular dance floor was PACKED with everyone from newlyweds to 50+ years! The couple who won the anniversary dance, Nick’s grandparents, have been married for FIFTY SEVEN YEARS! This is what it’s all about my friends.
