This was our last wedding from 2019, and we are so ecstatic to share it with you as it was AMAZING!!! We were so excited when Alex & Matt chose us to photograph their day. They are just the sweetest couple and have such wonderful families, we knew it was going to be a good one! And friends… it truly was! The day started with them getting ready for their special first look in Abernethy’s beautiful Veiled Garden. When he saw her in her dress… his jaw literally dropped! And yours will too once you see it! We LOVE The White Dress PDX! Fun fact about her dress… Alex’s dad actually picked it out. In fact, he has helped her all throughout the years picking out her prom dresses, homecoming dresses, you name it! This literally melted me!!!! This daddy truly loves his girl and it was expressed throughout the entire day. Love their sweet father daughter relationship!

Flowery Farmgirl seriously did a breathtaking job on florals- I mean WOW! Alex wanted dark foliage throughout neural florals and I wasn’t sure how it would all piece together… but oh my goodness we are in LOVE! She also designed a beautiful floral installment on the gazebo in Veiled Garden…. however, once guests were seated it started to DOWNPOUR. Thankfully, Abernethy Center is an amazing venue that has great backup options in a crunch. Their day of coordinator, Ruth, hustled to get everyone comfortably inside the Abernethy Chapel, florals moved, and DJ set up & ready to go just in time for the ceremony! Talk about making it happen am I right?!

After their beautiful ceremony in the Abernethy Chapel, it was time to partayyyy!!! Alex & Matt’s guests knew how to do just that! Anthony from Sound Choice Entertainment kept everyone on the dance floor till the very end!!! It was so fun to capture! We took a few of my absolute favorite reception shots during this time… Alex’s wedding dress just wanted to MOVE and it did just that! After their bubble send off… they departed off to their Hawaiian honeymoon! What a way to celebrate! <3
