Allissa and Gabe’s wedding day was a magical love story come TRUE! After all, Gabe proposed to Allissa in the most “magical place on earth,” so it was only appropriate for them to have a fairytale winter wedding! As string instruments played “So This is Love” from Disney’s classic Cinderella, guests entered into the gorgeous ceremony space to witness a prince and a princess say “I do!”

The day started off a little rainy & cold, and we were a worried about finding the perfect portrait location. However, Allissa & Gabe let us know that they totally trusted us and were up for bracing the rain, so that’s exactly what we did and it was SO WORTH IT. We found the perfect rooftop parking garage right across the street from their venue- and the four of us were shocked at how magical the Portland city scape was for their backdrop! Their amazing bridal party and families joined us after their first look and formal portraits, and we all had a blast together! 🙂

After their short and sweet ceremony, it was party time! During cocktail hour, the Elysian Ballroom wedding team came in and totally transformed their venue from ceremony to reception hall… and just wow!! It was breathtakingly beautiful! Gold chiavari chairs, gorgeous florals, soft pink table linens, candle lit all throughout the ballroom… everyone was enchanted, and so we were we! Allissa & Gabe were able to share a special memory together that many brides and grooms rarely have the opportunity to experience. Just the two of them were able to sneak into their reception hall to see all of the beauty before their guests did, while it was fresh and perfectly set up!!! We were even able to take some sweet pictures of them spending time together at their table, sipping on their signature cocktails, and soaking in their fairytale wedding. I guess dreams really do come true!

Shortly after guests were seated for dinner, the newlyweds were formally introduced and immediately shared their first dance together as husband and wife. Their dance was beautifully choreographed, and it was as if we were watching Cinderella & Prince Charming themselves!!! After a lovely steak dinner, the rest of the wedding festivities continued, ending with everyone dancing the night away in celebration of Allissa & Gabe’s “happily ever after!” We hope you enjoy getting to scroll through and see this fairytale wedding from our perspective- it was truly an honor and privilege for us to capture! <3
